The CARBON Collection
Our CARBON collection is an ever-growing collection of artworks made by contemporary artists using carbon-conscious materials. Inaugurated at Frieze London in 2021 and 2022 the collection grows year on year as leading artists continue to generously donate works directly from their studio. Funds raised through the sale of the art goes towards Platform Earth’s marine conservation and carbon capture projects in the UK and abroad.

Carbon-Conscious Materials
We carbon sequestration as both a conceptual thread and practical goal of its cultural projects through the pioneering use of innovative carbon-negative materials in art. Platform Earth encourages carbon-conscious art production through the use of pioneeringmaterials: an ‘Air Ink’ sequestered directly from exhaust fumes, or CO2 captured in a brand new sculptural medium coined ‘CarbonXinc’ - closing the loop on art production.
