Support our mission by contributing today.
With the urgency of the climate crisis upon us, Platform Earth invites the global arts, science, and education communities to join us in a vital mission to protect our oceans and strengthen marine literacy.
Your contribution today is pivotal in enabling our public program to flourish. Through collaborations between artists and scientists we reshape how the visual arts sector engages with the marine environment.
What Your Support Enables
Our work is educational at its core. We support interdisciplinary initiatives that deepen understanding of marine ecosystems and drive action in schools, universities, and cultural organisations.
We champion marine conservation projects that restore seagrass beds, kelp forests, salt marshes, and blue carbon sinks — essential habitats that absorb and store carbon, nurture biodiversity, and protect our seas.
The CARBON Collection
Our CARBON collection is an ever-growing collection of artworks made by contemporary artists using carbon-conscious materials. Inaugurated at Frieze London in 2021 and 2022 the collection grows year on year as leading artists continue to generously donate works directly from their studio. Funds raised through the sale of the art goes towards Platform Earth’s marine conservation and carbon capture projects in the UK and abroad.

Thank you for helping to power our 2030 ambition: the creation of the Skywalk, an educational walkway over the Venetian lagoon — a shared platform where art meets science and where the next generation can engage with our fragile marine heritage. Together, we can chart a new course for marine conservation, elevate marine literacy, and transform how culture connects with the sea.
